AEROBICS: The word aerobic means "with oxygen" but aerobics usually refers to any kind of activity that gets your heart pumping and your muscles using oxygen.

Aerobic dancing involves any kind of exercise put to music and can include everything from country music line dance aerobics to hip-hop dancing. Aerobics combines rhythmic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness). Aerobic exercise stimulates the heart rate and breathing rate to increase in a way that can be sustained for the exercise session. In contrast, anaerobic ("without oxygen") exercise is activity that causes you to be quickly out of breath, like sprinting or lifting a heavy weight. Aerobic exercise (also known as cardio) is physical exercise of low to high intensity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process.
